Hello All

I bought an ASUS RT-AC85P compatible with OpenWRT.

I'd like to test OpenWRT on this router but i want to be sure that I can revert and come back to Merlin in case my experience with OpenWRT will be bad...

is it possibile to revert to Merlin from OpenWRT? is there a guide somewhere?

Thanks a lot

ah ok! I thought that every asus had Merlin version and only some Asys had OpenWRT... in this case i'll go with OpenWRT...

Thanks a lot for feedback

Give OpenWRT a try I suppose - being mediatek based, there is support there

RMerlin doesn't support that chipset, but you should be able to roll back to Asus factory firmware via tftp rescue mode.
