Asus RT-AC88U Hidden USB3 Port

Hello,

For people who would like to use USB3 Flash drive on the ASUS RT-AC88U Router there are two USB ports on this router, one is at the back which is a USB 2.0 port and one hidden in front on the left of the router which is a USB 3.0 port.

The two USB ports are shown in the product description, technical specifications, the manual and the GUI. So it's not exactly a secret.

I understand the confusion. I have seen several big box store website describe the unit as only having one USB port. Best Buy was one of them. When I ordered mine, I had to go to Asus website to confirm that the router had two ports. Best Buy and Staples both described the router in there description as only having one USB port.

Some college kid web editor likely opened the box and only saw one port, so he wrote one port.
