New Around Here
Hi everyone,

Since the last firmware update, my router has not been very stable. I keep getting dropouts. I tried both on my laptop and desktop PCs, with the same problem.

Is anyone else having issues?

Thanks :)

Hi everyone,

Since the last firmware update, my router has not been very stable. I keep getting dropouts.
What specific firmware did you update to?
Where are you experiencing the "dropouts"? WiFi, wired LAN, WAN, etc.
What does the system log show around the time of the "dropouts"?

As a last resort when ever one is having weird issues after a firmware update; one could try the standard troubleshooting step of performing a hard factory reset on the router followed by a manual configuration (do not import a saved router.cfg file).

WI-FI dropouts. Maybe once every 1 to 2 hours
What does the system log show around the time of the WiFi dropouts? That may give a clue as to the issue(s).

Because it's WiFi you may want to post a readable screenshot of your WiFi settings (with sensitive information redacted) for others to review.

By any chance are you using 160 MHz with DFS channels enabled? If so the router could be detecting RADAR. As a test set the 5 GHz to 80 MHz with DFS disabled on Auto Channel.
