The developer states in his FAQ that I linked to "It needs to be Broadcom-based". So this is what the developer has chosen to do rather than any inherent technical limitation. Even in the range of Broadcom based routers the developer doesn't have the time to support all of them, only a subset.Can someone clarify/extend this a little please. I assume that "The RT-AX59U is a MediaTek device." means that the RT-AX59U uses Mediatek hardware. Is a consequence of this that asuswrt-merlin simply can't support it?
