Also great if you add a "Release" prefix to the header like the other threads have.

I have installed this firmware but when i make a change and hit the apply button the router says changes are made but after 100% nothing is changed.
I have to log out and clear my browser history, then log in and then the changes are visable. I have to do this every time.

Also when i make a change in the wireless section, professional tab, the change i make in 2,4ghz he also makes it in the 5hgz proffesional tab. They are the same but i want different set up for 2,4 and 5 ghz.

What am i missing??

Thanks

May help if you list the browser and any extensions or addons you are running on the browser.
Does the issue happen on a different web browser and or different computer/device?

Do you have Smart Connect enabled? Disable Smart Connect if it is enabled and you should be able to configure each WiFi band independently.
What is Smart Connect?
Smart Connect is a feature found in ASUS routers. Typically, users manually select the WiFi band for their devices (such as 2.4GHz or 5GHz). Enabling the Smart Connect feature allows all WiFi bands to use the same WiFi name and password. Devices (such as smartphones) will automatically connect to the most suitable WiFi band, simplifying the process of connecting devices to the wireless network (WiFi) without the need to manually choose the appropriate WiFi band for each device.

Is smart connect the same as enable wifi 7 on the both bands?

Smart Connect is generally an option on certain firmware versions. The Asus Support link on Smart Connect provided previously explains how to enable or disable Smart Connect depending if one is running firmware later than 3.0.0.6.102_35404 or not.
For 3.0.0.6.102_35404 and earlier firmware versions see this link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/faq/1012132/#a2
For firmware later than 3.0.0.6.102_35404 see this link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/faq/1012132/#a1

In the link for firmware later than 3.0.0.6.102_35404, look at the router GUI enable Smart Connect step #4 in the link. It has a section starting with: "If you need to turn off Smart Connect, you can set different WiFi names and passwords for different WiFi bands" that explains how to configure the Network settings to disable the Smart Connect feature. Basically the directions indicate one selects a single WiFi band not all of them. Example images from the Asus support link attached showing how to create a WiFi network with Smart Connect disabled in the router GUI.

Mmmmmm, I think they made (again) a mess with the WiFi Scheduler.....
I still have the original problem since december 2024 update, basically Scheduler works but only on the router and not on the remote mesh node (RP-AX58 in my case).

And now you have "scheduling option" into Networks menu but also into "Professional" Wireless sub-menù.

Now it seems the scheduling under PRofessional sub-menù doesn't have any effect at all and the Scheduling under Networks works but only on the BE88U.
