Asus RT N56U Problem

When I wirelessly connect a either of the networks. I get disconnected from the network every 1 minute for 2 seconds or there is a large latency ping spike.

Also, I am wondering if I should upgrade my firmware to Padavan's firmware.

You did not write about what firmware release you have.
I had a lot of problems with Asus f/w and installed the Padavans latest firmware
and have had no problems at all ...

I am on the Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.318.
Edit: I just upgraded my router to Padavan's firmware. Is there a QoS function?
The lag spiking is still present. (occuring every 30s for 3s)
