ASUS RT-N66U Disconnects Daily- Charter Internet

New Around Here
It seems like ASUS RT-N66U router disconnecting to internet daily issue has occurred for many users. Currently I have Charter internet and using the companies Motorola SB6141 modem. I myself have been seeing this issue. Before I bought this router, I read many threads recommending to update the firmware out the box. Which I did, I updated the firmware through the Asus gui 192.168.2.1.

Any other Charter customers seeing this?
Should I update the firmware through the website instead?
Should I use return this router and upgrade to the Asus RT-AC66U. Or just move to different brand?
Should I reset my router and not upgrade the firmware?

Hmm...

Look in the GUI under WAN -> Internet Connections and find the "DHCP query frequency" option. If it isn't already, set that to "normal" and see if it helps.

Charter sucks and all, but my internet definitely ain't going down daily. I don't have the same modem as you do though. I have the Ubee instead of the Motorola SB6141.

Oh, and howdy Alf :)
