Who had hoped to see another update for the good old fellow :)

I have multiple N and AC 66 vintage ASUS routers I keep around for use as "interim backups" and "harsh conditions" such as the patio and garages. They make great APs for most uses when not much more than extending the signal is required.

Nice to see support for the RT-N66U. It was a great router for years until AC wi-fi launched.

802.11ac or not or even 802.11ax: 2.4GHz is not changed since 802.11n which is fully supported by the RT-N66U and making it great to support the majority of clients and applications.
