I have a ASUS ZenWiFi AX6600 XT-8 Mesh System with 5 nodes throughout my home and I'm approaching 80 clients and was wondering if there is a limit on how many clients can connect to the network as a whole and or limit per node?

around 25-30 per AP is a reasonable rule of thumb for consumer gear.
You can go higher than that with SMB or enterprise.
