I have 2 ASUS ET12's , current firmware, all rebooted and previously fully reset. They are connected by Ethernet WIRED backhaul. All the devices being tested are within 6 feet of the main router (and about 50 feet away from the AI Mesh extended device on the other side of the house). They are all using the same SSID on all bands.

I have a MAC Mini M2 Pro, a Macbook AIR M3, a new iPad Mini 7, 2 iPhone 16 ProMax all which support WIFI 6E.

If I look at my WIFI network devices in the router they all show WIFI 6, none show WIF 6E. Not sure if "6E" is supposed to be displayed or maybe it just shows "6" (without the "E") regardless. Is there somewhere in the router interface that I need to setup 6E specifically, or should it simply default to that ?

What can I check to see if my connections on the supported devices listed above are WIFI 6E? The Apple devices don't show WIFi type (that I can find).

Thank you

RIF

Think the E referes to 6Ghz capability, if those that support 6Ghz are connected at that then all is as it should be. Check the wifi connections in AI Mesh.

Yep. Just learned that. I should have simply Googled WiFI6 vs 6E and the answer would have been obvious! Thank you. :)
