asuswrt-merlin toolchain gdb

Hi all,

new to the forum and asuswrt-merlin, but getting my hands dirty pretty quickly!

Does anyone know if there is a way to recompile the toolchain to add gdb support? I am trying to debug a segfault issue with a custom binary running on my router but unfortunately there is no gdb support in the toolchain.

Or, is there a way to do a debug build of the firmware which might enable this?

In this forum, @kvic has re-compiled the ARM toolchain in Asuswrt (Broadcom SDK). You need to say what router model.
