I have an ax89x and several ax88u routers, will this be also receiving all the AiMESH 2.0 features as in the rc2 for the other devices?

I can't see why not?

That's not 386 beta firmware.

OE
OK, fill me in on the benefit of beta firmware please.
I've never used beta firmware, isn't it much better to use the final true and tested firmware?

This thread is for anyone who wants to help beta test the subject firmware.

If you don't know what that means, Google it and read up. For example:

I know what beta firmware is but it didn't click...sorry, I wasn't too attentive, embarrassing for sure :)

Did I read the notes correctly? GT-AX11000 now supported?
Have a pretty stable AX11000 and I'm game to put a little time in Beta -

Trav..

Any good news on the updated RC2 version for this router RT-AX89X?
TIA,

Well on my RT-AX89X this firmware introduced very high latency initially (circa 400ms to the router) and some packet loss using WIFI (haven't checked wired).

I also noticed some bugs when toggling OFDMA/802.11ax MU-MIMO in professional settings. Had to toggle back and forth between modes as it was showing disabled (even though it was enabled before the upgrade).

I reset back to factory defaults and reconfigured and it works fine.
However, it's disappointing that there's still no DNS over TLS support

WPA3 is there but can't be used as my older network cards don't support it.
