I have an RT-AX88u and looking to go mesh. I have 2 ethernet wires run to the new location and was looking to buy the AX-92u access point and use LACP? I can't find anything definitive if it supports lacp in access point? The asus website says no but it also says it does not support 802.11ac :/ Was thinking of buying an additional ax-88u instead but it is $100 more and don't see a real reason to.

What would an LACP connected AiMesh node benefit you?

I wouldn't be considering the RT-AX92U. The RT-AX68U is worthy of pairing with an RT-AX88U via a wired backhaul. It may be less expensive too.

I have 6 people in my house and lots of netflix, youttube, xbox and plex going on. I don't want any bottlenecks.

So, an LACP connected AiMesh node isn't a need, it's a want. :)

Describe your network and ISP in detail for better answers, please.
