AX58U 3004.388.11 - Dual WAN and IPTV

Hello,

Could anyone please check and confirm if on the mentioned release there is still removed an option to configure IPTV with DUAL-WAN (failover)? Is the conflict message still appearing, or has Asus woken up and restored this very important functionality? Thank you.
Below is the Asus statement:
When both Dual WAN and IPTV are enabled, some features will not function properly. Users may experience this as working in older firmware simply because the previous firmware user interface did not impose any restrictions.

Technically, if a user actually experiences a failover from the primary WAN to the secondary WAN in Dual WAN mode, it is still not compatible with IPTV settings.

It has been confirmed that in all ASUSWRT models with version 3.0.0.6 and later, the user interface now includes a blocking mechanism that prevents and disallows such configurations.

Dual WAN and IPTV have always been mutually exclusive features. When using IPTV in Dual WAN mode, the IPTV service must be configured on the default WAN port and cannot be dynamically switched.

The new firmware introduces warning messages to prevent customers from creating conflicting settings.

I don't think they are going to work on this feature for the 3004 code base.
In the 3006 firmware they added a 802.1Q section to the WAN config page, so each WAN can have it's own settings.
IPTV isn't necessary anymore.

Thanks for info. Could you please paste me a screenshot from the new WAN page, with these settings? I would like to be sure whether there are required by my ISP options. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. Are you sure it's from AX58U, not from AX86/88U Pro? As I remember, I didn't notice this option after installing a newer firmware last time.

That is from a AX86U-PRO. The 3006 codebase won't be made available to anything less than that, so you would need to get a different router if you want that ability.
