Entware [AX86U Merlin 3004.388.9_2] Disabling Firewall in WebUI allows Transmission to open the famous closed port, but WebUI Port Forwarding does not.

There is a strange recurring problem with opening up the peer listening port for Transmission I've seen in many older threads.

The only way I've managed to "open" the port is turning off the firewall in Asuswrt entirely, which I can't leave off for obvious reasons.
Transmission is installed locally on the router via entware opkg.

I also tried running

iptables -L | grep PORTNUMBER

to no output to see if that's where it's stored etc. (I don't have experience with iptables and just queried the list to confirm.

How do I successfully open the port in the Asus WebUI with my setup? Transmission runs on the same router.
