AX88U AImesh Node devices can't ping or communicate with them

I have a ax88u and ac86u (node) setup. When devices connect with my aimesh ac86u node, they get an ip address, but I'm unable to commutate with them. I can't even ping the devices on the node. The nodes looks good, it lists all my devices which are connected to the node. But I'm unable to access them. Anyone seen this before?

I checked the devices that are attached to the AiMesh node. The node reports proper IP address. But the devices all have a 169 ip address.

So it looks like the DHCP is not working on the AiMesh node. It's very weird.
