On my router the b/g protection checkbox is checked and greyed out. Without getting into a discussion about if I need this setting or not, shouldn't I have the ability to select that setting myself? I'm in 2.4. wireless settings.

Another issue I see is that despite setting the 2.4 band to 'N Only', a scan reveals that it is broadcasting in b/g/n mode. Thats not correct is it?

I'm using a 87u running Merlin's 384.7_2. Have 5G setup and thats fine. Also have a guest network on 2.4 thats also broadcasting as b/g/n.

Advise please?

Thank you.

Only active when in legacy mode.

Still no idea about the b/g/n thou.

In my router when I select N only, G devices can see the broadcast, but they cannot connect to it. I allways though this is expected.
