Best settings for N66U

I just picked this router up and updated it to the latest firmware.

Should I use other firmware or settings?

Funny I found it by googling on another site.

My 2.4 Ghz sipped is still slow.

Wired speed is 75 MB per sec an 18 wireless

I have an actual su-forum dedicated to it right here in the ASUS Wireless section Probably the best location to look for more information if you want to see the difference between the original firmware and Asuswrt-Merlin.

I'm using your latest version and it did improve the latency. I also increased the power and I'm getting about 30MBs at a distance of 30ft.

I may pickup the Netgear R6300 to do a comparison.

There must be some more tweaks I can do?
