Best way to trigger .postconf (dnsmasq) without rebooting? [solved]

Anyone know how to trigger the loading of the postconfig files?

Simplest way for dnsmasq.postconf would be to restart dnsmasq (service restart_dnsmasq) over SSH.

thank you dave, I was simply running "dnsmasq" at terminal, it does restart dnsmasq and reload hosts file, but does not load the .postconf. NOTED!
