Skynet received a whitelist update earlier this week and now Diversion won't update its blocklist. It hangs when trying to update the shared whitelist. Eventually timing out with the following error:
Code:
Error: Unable to refresh Skynet to whitelist domains in shared-Diversion-whitelist.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Diversion can update the lists successfully here.

A router reboot fixed the problem.

A reboot usually does. Reboot (test) first, and ask questions later.

I have received a status email for the last 3 Fridays stating "something failed during the blocking list update" and "Waiting for Skynet" pretty much as the cause. Ended up performing a forced update to Skynet to get it to release the file lock in a timely manner.

My router has an 18-day uptime span this month - its longest without a reboot. Is a weekly reboot going to be required?

A periodic reboot of any kind isn't necessary if a network is functioning properly. If it is required, that indicates a network issue that needs to be fixed, not masked by the rebooting.
