Bold thread title?

How does one bold the text in the title of a thread - is it by using BB codes (e.g., [B]Thread Title[/B] )? If yes, can the BB codes not be added after the initial posting - say, after 1 or more days?

I don't see any threads with customizations in title. Bold thread names indicate unread content. Making it bold by choice will be quite confusing for the users. Assuming not allowed for this reason alone.

Ahhh - I did not realize the bold meant unread. Thanks for the response
