Upgraded from 386.3_2 to the 386.4 firmware and my Samba share stopped working. Devices would fail to connect, and the SMB config in the router just spun. Restarted the router and laptop, continued to fail to connect. Disabled/reenabled SMB and still fails. Downgraded back to 386.3_2 and the issue has resolved.

Is this a clean install or a dirty install? If dirty, try deleing the users in the Samba GUI and re-add them. Forget where I saw the post, but believe there is a chance for username corruption during a dirty upgrade. Deleting the users and re-adding them should fix it.

Hey Jeffrey, this was a "dirty" upgrade. I started having similar issues on downgrade so I think it was an issue with the drive, and/or some sort of indexing issue. It seems to have been resolved now, so unlikely to be a bug. Appreciate the followup, if the issue persists I'll try a reset as well.
