Can I add a WNHDE111 to my DIR-655 & DAP-1522

Using the DAP-1522 in AP mode with a few devices hard wired to it. To see if I can get some more speed for xbox live etc.

Sure. You can use a WNHDE111 to connect devices to the DAP-1522. But you won't get higher speed than an Ethernet connection.

If anything, you may get lower throughput by using 5 GHz, depending on distance, walls, etc.

What about 15 feet through 1 thin interior wall?

You'll probably see about the same speed at 2.4 GHz.
