Can you use DSL-AS68U with @GNUton Firmware loaded as a AImesh Node?

Hi Guys. I have a RT-AC88U as my main router with merlin firmware.
I am looking for an AImesh node/Access Point, would a DSL-AS68U with @GNUton Firmware on it allow it to act as a node?

Maybe with the latest GNUton Alpha 9 or later release, if the AiMesh v2.0 modules are available for it.
