Since yesterday I have no internet access through the router, and I cannot connect to it by LAN. I get the message "Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh. Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC68U. To access the settings of RT-AC68U, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP adress and port number." Wifi lets me access the GUI, but there are no internet access. Also, the wifi signal disconnects all the time. I have checked and my modem have internet access.

Any suggestions? I'm using RMerlins latest ._5 FW.

Try turning your modem off, wait 30 sec turn it back on.

No difference.

As said @gtspeck, first reboot the router. If it doesn't seem to work, and you have a laptop, let's remove a variable and connect directly (wire) the laptop to the router. Report here the results.

I finally found the problem. I have a old switch tucked away that's between the computer and the router. Turned out to be the lan issue. As for internet, it seems my modem is dodgy. They will replace it for me in a couple of days.

Are you able to reset the switch? It may just be confused. :)

I don't think so. It's 3-4 years old anyway, so I might as well just buy a new one. I can just bring one home from work, so no biggie.

I'm actually thinking of going the 5Ghz wifi route even for my stationary PC...
