Cannot install Merlin on new router - missing upload file button

Picked up a new AC66U B1

it looks like there is no way to upload a firmware file... instead there is only a button to check for the latest and have the router update itself in the background....

How can I install Merlin on this router?

1) cross posting isn't helpful.

2) there is a "Manual firmware update button " in your screenshot.

3) Merlin doesn't support AiMesh .

4) wesbez knows the answer ))

my issue was that I was trying upload the AC86U file (not AC68U)...
