I dunno if this is Merlin specific, but I just tried doing a CTRL+C to stop a ping, and it doesn't stop it.

I just did a simple: ping 192.168.0.123 from within a terminal (I used Termius when it happened, so not sure whether it happens in other terminal software, but my assumption is yes).

I understand that the router (GT-AX6000 running the latest Merlin) uses Busybox, so I tried looking that up, but still came to no solid conclusion. Does anyone familiar with this know how to terminate the ping other than logging out?

I remember seeing something like this, and I actually think it was a problem with Termius on my iPad that was eventually fixed. Try another terminal emulator to be certain.

Hasn’t happened in a long time though.

Aha. It was Termius. It had the Copy to Clipboard set to Ctrl+C. Changing it to Ctrl+Alt+ C solved it. lol

I would just delete this thread to reduce clutter, but the forum won't let me.
