Just recently I purchased a seagate goflex home 3tb network drive. Have had success setting up 2 accounts on the drive.

I decided to set up another user and keep getting this message, "Failed to connect to central server." Am figuring it has something to do with the server at seagate.com and not my drive. is this correct? tia:confused:
 
I'd return that and get a NAS that doesn't require the vendor's server.
Does Seagate want a monthly fee for some of their server's features?
