The three new products include the Nuclius Connect Hub (DNH-100), Nuclias Connect Indoor Access Point (DAP-3666) and Nuclias Connect Outdoor Access Point (DAP-2620).
Normally, Nuclius Connect products are managed using D-Link’s own free downloadable management software, but in cases where using a PC isn’t possible, the Nuclius Connect Hub has all the necessary software installed. With the hub and its software, administrators can manage up to 1000 APs, utilize auto managed frequency bands and L2/L3 AP discovery, use NAT passthrough, and administrate access using Nuclius’ SSO utility.
The two new APs will share several features including dual-band throughput (up to 1.2 Gbps), 2x2 MU-MIMO with two spatial streams, PoE support, one RJ-11 phone port, one RJ-45 GbE port, support of up to 16 SSIDs and wall mounting. Additionally, the outdoor DAP-2620 is a wall-plate access point that gets element-resisting features like an IP68 certified housing and GORE-TEX enhanced water-repellant protection.
The Nuclius Connect Hub (DNH-100), Nuclias Connect Indoor Access Point (DAP-3666) and Nuclias Connect Outdoor Access Point (DAP-2620) will all be available in Q1 2020. The hub and the indoor access point are priced at $239.99 and $469.99, respectively, while the outdoor access point price is TBD.
