New Around Here
Hi all, I just joined. I am a router config newbe. I usually do the minimal setup until it works and leave it.Now I want to get off the crowded channels I'm on.
I went through the manual and Googled for simple to understand instructions on how to change the channels and can't find them so, I'm here to ask experts.

I looked at the user manual.. nothing listed.
No doubt, you tried the web admin page where the "wireless" tab is shown. That should lead to a setup page in which you can choose the channel (1, 6 or 11 are the best choices as these are the non-overlapping channels).

I use an RT-N12/D1, a similar model I suppose. Mine's in AP mode.
The Wireless tab on mine has a user choice "Control Channel". It can be "Auto" or your choice of 1..11. Not sure why the term "control channel".
