Changing back to Merlin from DD-WRT on RT-AC66U

Hi,

I've tried to do some searching but I just want to know that I won't run into any issues as I have when getting dd-wrt to work properly (doesn't communicate well with my new modem). So I want to go back to Merlin, do I need to reset to factory settings then flush the nvram before I flash the latest Merlin trx file?

Thank you for the reply. I managed to switch back without issue with what I had mentioned and tried to delete the thread before but wasn't able to. This thread can be locked or deleted, thank you.

Did you flash via the web GUI, tftp or ASUS recovery tool?
