My buddy gave me a Check Point VPN-1 Wireless Edge W Series Security appliance (router). This is a brand new unit he got as an eval unit for his company about 2 years ago. I looked up the problem specs and it is pretty amazing. The problem with this is that the eval code and product code have expired. Now I can even get into the unit.
I know it is slim chance to get access... unless I pay mucho $$$$ for the activation. Just want to see if anyone have a suggestion for this.
Also, any recommendations (if I can't use the Check Point unit) on which Gigabit Wireless-N router to use? I just added a few drops of Cat6 at my place and planning to get a NAS as well.
