Chromecast issue with RT-N66U

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but since I got the RT-N66U router and installed Merlin I've had issues with using the chromecast. I can play one video on netflix, but then the app can't find the chromecast anymore to control it. If I reboot my router It sees it again. Is there some setting I need to tweak? Or will it just not work with Merlin? My chromecast worked just fine when I was using my old Linksys. It couldn't be the new modem I got from Comcast could it? My old one died so I had to go in and get a new one. The one I use now is a Ubee D 3.0. Any help would be appreciated.

Also my client status never seems to update, nor does it show every device that is currently online, which should be 5, including the chromecast.
