yes its just re scanning connected devices
however
thats a dam lot of clients connected to that router , over what sort of area are they in around the router as depending on how many are wifi connected you might be pushing the limits of the 68u
@pete y testing - it's a GREAT question.... and I'd love some feedback, as I'm not really sure how to optimize. Many/most of the connections are related to my home automation, where I try to connect as much as possible with an IP address so I can control things in scenes. But they don't have a lot of ongoing use (e.g. streaming, downloading, web use, etc.).
Here's some details. LOVE any feedback:
1. 3700 sq.ft. house - router main floor, middle of house. Decent 5G coverage everywhere.
2. 7 - 2.4g tablets around the house used for scene control; always on.
3. 3 - televisions, wired
4. 3 - Xbox's, wired
5. Sprinkler irrigation - wired
6. Harmony remote control - WiFi
7. SONOS - 6 zones, mixed
8. DirecTV whole home - wired. (uses own protocol, but the main unit is wired to internet)
9. 2 - Denton amplifiers, wired
10. 2 - IP cameras wired over POE
11. 4 - IP cameras - WiFi (definitely an area that concerns me on bandwidth)
12. 2 - Amazon Echo - WiFi
13. Ecobee thermostat - WiFi (with 5 sensors on [I think] 900ghz)
14. 5 PCs - wired (a couple heavy use... others not so much)
15. 3-4 windows tablets (varying use) - WiFi
16. Vera control zwave home automation controller - wired
17. 4 - cellular phones - wifi
And I'm probably forgetting a few! As I type this, I'm almost embarrassed

.
To put into perspective, there are 4 of us max in the house (2 adults/2 kids), so that may help provide an idea around heavy usage of a PC, Xbox, etc. My son likes to game (Xbox and PC), my wife and I mostly use PCs for work. We don't stream a ton of content... maybe a movie once a week.
Again, love any thoughts on best ways to setup? The Static IPs are necessary for my home automation setup, fyi. It all seems to work pretty well most of the time.
Thanks!!!!
