Configuring Asus RT-N10 LX

New Around Here
Hi all!
Its nice to find a community dedicated to setup your own mini network :)
Thats cool!
I recently bought an Asus RT-N10 LX wireless router and I am having some difficulty configuring it.

I am trying to configure it for my WAN based interface.
MY ISP needs me to login using a login id and a password prior to surfing the net. Well I saw the WAN configuration option in my router's config page so I configured it successfully one time..BUT as soon as I switched it off (both the modem & the router at the same time)before going to bed (both the broadband modem & the router are connected to the same power outlet).

Now when I switched my network back on I was surprised to see my ISP's login Page asking me to type in the login ID and password but I had actually done it for my router to automatically do the same for me :(

Ok now as I am an advanced user but really din't owned a router so I have a few questions for you guys.. :)

- it it like when I switch off both my router suddenly..does that causes my router to somehow not save the settings..?

- should i need to switch off my router after I have switched off my modem..?
or should I switch on my router when my modem has initialized properly (all the receive/send/online LEDs has stablized?)

Encryption is enabled on my router. Using: WPA2-PSK
my laptop is running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

Thanks in advance
