Hi,
I am investigating for the last 1 week on FCoE concept.
We have a server with NIC port at present. Now we want to use this server as secondary storage solution for FC SAN. For this we have to replace NIC Card with CNA card in my server.
Ques 1: Which cable should be used from CNA. Is it FC Cable?
Ques 2: Can we connect FC Cable from CNA directly to FC SAN port and is the communication possible?
Ques 3: Can we connect FC Cable from CNA to FC SAN port through FC Switch? If yes, then how FC Switch different from FCoE switch?
Please help in above queries, it will help my investigation.
