Core jobs

Quad code for me in an rt-ax88u pro, does anyone know what each one of the cores does or are they specifically assigned a specific job? I can watch as the orange core increase with wan traffic.

I’m just curious.

Cores are used as needed. Nothing is assigned (except in RMerlin firmware for the VPNs).

Each core does what it can.

I will challenge your answer, because whenever I do a speed test, the pattern is repetitive on which core is used, so I’ll say it’s not random.
