Could I flash one model firmware to another one to gain Aimesh?

I need another Asus router to be used as an Aimesh node, but I mistakenly bought RT-AX1800S (AX54?) for RT-AX1800 (AX55), they are looking nearly the same, and Specs are identical, price is the same too on Amazon.

So, I am wondering if I could flash AX1800 / AX55 firmware onto AX-1800S to gain Aimesh function, or I better return it to exchange AX1800/AX55. By the way, from firmware file, this AX1800S is likely to be AX54 model, probably a global version ?

(The one with red line is AX1800/AX55, no red is the one I bought, AX1800S)

No. The model number and features are "burnt-in" to the router. It won't accept a firmware file for a different model, even if the hardware is effectively the same.
