Why aren't any of the av (Windows Defender, McAfee, ClamAV) not flagging this file ?

Because none of them recognize it, and also these virus scanners are generally targeted at analyzing regular X86 executables, not ARM/MIPS executables.

I've never trusted having that thing exposed to the WAN anymore than the GUI. It uses the lighttpd deamon, which is probably better than what the GUI is using. But even so, it can't compare to a full-blown webserver. And so I don't trust *any* of these "light" http servers. IMO, you're just asking for trouble. Confine *all* your remote access to a VPN, period.
