Cyclops botnet threat on Asus router

We have evidence that this threat is affecting more and more Asus router.
What can we do against it and will there be security upgrade to protect our routers from beeing useda by russians to engage attacks gainst our infrastrures ?

Come on guys, I have to delete/lock threads about this TWICE a day lately. Forums aren't just for posting, they are also for reading. It's generally written right in the topic titles, and there was such a topic right in this same sub-forum where this was posted.
