I have a DIR-632. 8 wired ports, plus wireless.

This router allows you to reserve IP addresses from DHCP.

1) The router is set to DHCP. I don't have a DNS server at home.

2) The WAN IP (the IP address from broadband) is 192.168.1.64

3) The LAN DHCP IP range is 192.168.0.* to 192.168.255.0.

4) Router allows you to reserve an IP from the DHCP IP range for a MAC address. I reserved IP addresses for several hosts that used the wired ports.

5) I tried to change the reserved IP address of a host but when I try to "Save" the changes, the router, via the browser, displays an error message stating:

"LAN subnet conflicts with WAN subnet".

I did not have this problem before. But recently, I cannot change any DHCP settings in this router.

Is there another D-Link owner/user who has some experience with thsi router and knows how to resolve this problem?

Thanks.

3) The LAN DHCP IP range is 192.168.0.* to 192.168.255.0.
Is this a typo or is it true. If it's true then that will be your problem. The LAN address range should be:

Router Settings:
192.168.0.1
255.255.255.0

DHCP Settings:
192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199
(or a similar range somewhere between 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.254)

Also, make sure that your WAN netmask is 255.255.255.0
