Asking Alexa, Amazon Echo’s built-in voice assistant, to turn on your living room lights is now possible with D-Link’s Connected Home Smart Wi-Fi Plugs. D-link announced the new compatibility with Amazon’s Smart Home device as an additional feature that now exists alongside D-Link’s mydlink Home mobile app and IFTTT (if this then that) recipe support for customizing commands.

For the mydlink app functionality, Amazon Echo specifically works with the DSP-W110 and DSP-W215 Wi-Fi Smart Plugs.

The mydlink Home app is available for download and will include the new integrated support for Amazon Echo. For more information, visit the D-Link Connected Home page.
