My pc and nas is not near each other, can I connect them like this ? (== means 2 cat6 cables )

pc == switch1 == switch2 == nas

the pc and nas both have dual NIC, and both switches support 802.3ad link aggregation. The questions are
1. do I need dual cable between switch1 and switch2 ?
2. does link aggregation work if pc and nas are connected to different switches like above?

lag is intended to provide additional bandwidth for multiple users accessing the nas at the same time.

1. If you don't have two cables (in link aggregation mode) between switch1 and switch2 you are creating a potential bottleneck in bandwidth compared to the other two link aggregated connections. So if you try and send data between the PC and the NAS the switches can become overloaded causing them to send Pause Frames back to the clients. If the switch ports don't support flow control the packets are simply lost resulting in retransmissions and lower overall throughput than if you had not used any link aggregation at all.

2. Link aggregation only applies to the devices at either end of the cable pair, e.g. PC and switch1. It does not apply to end-to-end connections, e.g. PC to NAS.
