Hi together,
my new ISP send me a new router which I have to use. My problem is that the ISP router doesn't support ddns.
When I use ddns on my AC87U it sends a private ip to noip.com. Is it possible do use a script which doesn't use the wanport?

Best regards

Thanks. I read it all ready ;) do I understand it right when I use the http-update it uses my Ip header sourceaddress and not my rt87u wan ip?

When you use the built-in ez-ipupdate process, Asus directly uses the IP configured on the WAN interface of the router. With a custom script, it's up to you - if your script merely hits a certain URL, then that server will determine your real IP based on the HTTP request you are sending it.
