Hi guys, For years I have had a free sub with No-IP (hope the name drop is ok, not advertising but may make a difference to answer, delete if not allowed).
1st with a Homehub and it updated as my ip changed. I have upgraded to a asus 5300, using a openreach white modem and it doesn't auto update. (im currently on cable and have a static IP, moving soon with no cable) so will be back to needing my router to auto update my IP for ddns.
I have the asus 5300 running on most recent merlin firmware.
