Deciding Between Synology & QNAP - Take 2

Synology's not well known backup called "Time Backup", is great. It does file versioning and incremental, on your schedules. Keeps the last n versions of selected folders. No special folders needed. I think QNAP requires dedicated special folders to do somthing similar.

I am using both QNAP and Synology both are good to use and easy to setup but I still prefer QNAP because it is easy to create packages with any third party software in it.

Opinion: Integrating as a DIY, 3rd party software into NAS... Way down the list of desired features. High on undesired risky. No matter the vendor.
