A simple yes or no :)
dhcp range .10 - .250
fixed ip's .20 and .100 - .120

When dhcp issues an IP address is it aware of these fixed devices ?

I would prefer to set dhcp range to .121 - .250 to avoid usage in the fixed range but I seem to remember I could not set a fixed ip outside the dhcp range.

If you are referring to IP addresses that are reserved in the Manually Assigned IP around the DHCP list then yes the DHCP server is aware of those addresses and will not attempt to give them to other clients.

..but I seem to remember I could not set a fixed ip outside the dhcp range.
Not true, you can reserve IP addresses inside or outside of the DHCP range.

Tnx. It must have been before merlin I had that reserve issue, can't test it till end of year, AP is too far away.
