If I don't have wifi6, do I need Disabled 802.11ax? Or can I leave it?

Your choice. I would keep it, learn it, and maintain it for when you want it... AX is in your future.

Leaving it enabled shouldn`t impact performance/connectivity, except maybe on the 2.4 GHz band if you happen to connect a few old/low-end IoT devices to that band, which may be pickier about features.

I'm running a couple of very old "G" IP cams on 2.4 GHz on an AX router with no issues. Just stick to WPA2-Personal and you should be OK.

Airtime Fairness has been known to cause compatibility issues a number of times, so this is best kept disabled on the 2.4 GHz band if your router allows you to configure that.
