I have the following setup:

Wired connection: ASUS AXE11000 router with Merlin firmware > 8-Port Gigabit PoE Smart Managed Switch DGS-1100-08P > SmartTV
All devices connected to 8-port PoE are using same DHCP settings: 192.168.X.Y as asus router.
DLNA is only visible to LAN or WiFi users directly connected to ASUS router.

netstat -alnp | grep minidlna showing the following:
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:8200 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 25111/minidlna
udp 0 0 192.168.50.1:42582 0.0.0.0:* 25111/minidlna
udp 0 0 239.255.255.250:1900 0.0.0.0:* 25111/minidlna

SmartTV ip adress is 192.168.50.180, but DLNA is not visible on TV.
Any ideas how to fix this? sorry for a n00b question.

So this would appear to be an issue with the switch configuration rather than the router. Check that the switch isn't restricting traffic by VLAN.
