DNS over HTTPS setting via ASUS Routers

I currently use DNS over TLS DoT with OpenDNS servers in ASUS Stock Firmware. Frequently, I feel that my internet connection takes too long to load a page.
Is it possible that page loading slows down due to DoT ?

Is it possible to use DNS over HTTPS DoH with OpenDNS at router level in ASUS Stock Firmware or even in ASUS Merlin ? I am aware that DNS over HTTPS can be used at browser level but if it can be done for my entire home network for all devices, it will be great.

DoT should not slow page loading. Something else is at play...

DoH may come to Stubby, the app that does DoT, in time. I would try another upstream resolver like Cloudflare Security. Also upgrade your router firmware.
